Lasermax Roll Systems selected by HP Indigo as Finishing Equipment Partner Integrator for HP Indigo sheetfed presses
New Platinum Partner within HP Graphics Solutions Partner Program
Burlington, MA (May 18, 2010) – Lasermax Roll Systems announces that it has been selected by HP Indigo to serve as Finishing Equipment Partner Integrator for HP Indigo sheetfed presses, creating Job Description Format-compatible technologies that can connect HP Indigo 7000 and 7500-model presses to finishing and binding solutions from other vendors for streamlined print-and-bind workflows. The new relationship with HP also designates Lasermax Roll Systems as a Platinum Partner of the HP Graphics Solutions Partner Program.
Lasermax Roll Systems has collaborated with HP for the PageReady™ fully automatic cutter/slitter/merger/stacker and the FinishReady™ Controller, a central interface that integrates HP Indigo presses with in-line and near-line finishing solutions. The two new solutions are key building blocks in HP Indigo’s newly enhanced finishing environment.
With the development of PageReady™ and FinishReady™ Controller, and its end-to-end control of the entire line, Lasermax Roll Systems is strategically positioned to perform as Finishing Equipment Partner Integrator for HP Indigo. In this role, Lasermax Roll Systems will integrate and qualify a broad range of finishing and bindery equipment to operate in-line with the HP Indigo 7500 Digital Presses.

At IPEX, two PageReady systems are being demonstrated in the HP stand (Hall 12, AB150) operating in-line with the new HP Indigo 7500 Digital Press. The fully modular finishing architecture will be demonstrated with finishing equipment from our partners, including the Duplo/IBIS Alpha Saddle heavy-duty saddle stitcher and GMP’s inline COATMASTER-IN3752UV for UV coating.
Lasermax Roll Systems’ partnership with HP also extends to solutions developed to work with Inkjet Web presses from HP Inkjet High-speed Production Solutions. The HP stand at IPEX also features a Lasermax Streamfolder™ book block solution in use with the new HP T200 Color Inkjet Web Press.
PageReady and FinishReady Controller are scheduled to be available in January 2011. Lasermax Roll Systems will begin integrating and qualifying additional finishing and bindery equipment in Q4 2010.
